Machine Shop Foreman - Job Description

"Our client, a leading Machine Shop in Western Canada, requires a Machine Shop Foreman to lead a team of 20+ machine shop staff in a state-of-the-art custom-built machinery and custom machine shop."

Qualifications:

  • 10 years leadership experience as a Foreman in a Jobber shop environment

  • Experience working with Manual lathe, milling machines, surface grinders

  • Mechanically creative in building components and parts

  • Knowledgeable in manufacturing, metallurgy and welding

  • Knowledgeable in CNC and AutoCAD

  • Excellent People Skills

  • Strong communicator

Responsibilities:

As Machine Shop Foreman leading 20+ skilled team members your responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating effectively with team members including management, accounting, sales, service, purchasing, shipping/receiving, suppliers & customers

  • Job quotation - participating in job quotation process & development

  • Reviewing, prioritizing, scheduling & monitoring job projects to ensure completion is cost-effective, timely and meets customer satisfaction

  • Inventory management - ensuring parts, supplies & materials required for job completion are in inventory and/or ordered

  • Scheduling, organizing & prioritizing job projects for Day & Evening shifts

  • Documentation - ensuring paper work/information for each job is completed with accuracy

  • Providing hands-on assistance and guidance to machine, inspect, repair or fabricate project work as required

  • Troubleshooting & problem-solving job project issues

  • Training, mentoring and monitoring new shop floor employees as required

  • Quality Control - performing inspections throughout the life cycle of the job project process

  • Work-Place & Safety - ensuring adherence to company policies, safety regulations & practices

  • Participating with the team to provide On Call 24/7 services to customers

  • Assisting the team in growing the customer base

Data & Analytics Specialist - Job Description

Our client requires a Data & Analytics Specialist to: (a) deliver integrated business/information solutions, and (b) build data models to analyze and present data using dashboards and data visualizations for end user needs. Position is based in Winnipeg, MB

Specific Responsibilities:

· Prepare and deliver dashboards, reports, & recommendations to meet business needs

· Define, format, filter, and model data for reports, dashboards, and visualizations from information systems

· Responsible for requirement analysis in the creation of new report, dashboard, and visualization development – may include data location and integrity analysis, and end user process/workflow analysis for effect on data

· Responsible for report maintenance and modification

· Participate in report software/server maintenance – by assisting users and taking appropriate corrective action as required

· Assist with various corporate initiatives and projects by providing technical support

· Maintain open communication and cooperation with staff to ensure a friendly and efficient work environment and timely completion of requests

 

Qualifications:

· Post-Secondary Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, or related discipline combined with 4-6 years of experience working with Data Analytics or Data Science.

· Required expert skills in Power BI

· Required expert level skills in DAX, M, and SQL languages

· Experience in Python or R languages would be considered an asset

· Experience with ETL, Data Warehouse design maintenance, and Data Engineering would be considered an asset

· Familiarity with system analysis and system life cycle management methodologies

 

·Familiarity of Relational Database Management Systems and concepts (RDBMS) and knowledge of programming languages, software development methodologies

· Technical Skills in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JAVA, JAVA EE, JAVA Middleware, Enterprise Databases (RDBMS), would be considered an asset

Our client requires a System Administrator – Marketing Cloud to work with stakeholders to define processes, and customize the CRM platform. In this role you will automate business processes, create reports and dashboards and train users. Position is based in Winnipeg, MB

Specific Responsibilities:

Work with internal members to gather requirements, implement and manage best practices for account configuration, definition of workflow, data management, users, subscriber data, security, permissions, approval processes and custom object implementation

· Present use cases to departments that demonstrate new or unused functionality to maximize software utility

· Maintain, prioritize, and report on user request backlog

· Create and manage access to visual representations of data.

· Update and maintain reports for tracking and record-keeping and submit to appropriate internal member/committee as needed

· Collaborate with vendors, analysts, and business owners to deploy new releases and enhancements

· Test new and modified software applications, ensuring program functionality and optimal performance

· Configure Marketing Cloud products (builders, studios)

· Support Marketing Cloud integration offerings (FTP, API, MC Connect)

· Analyze, diagnose, and determine root cause of issues and address resolution

· Assist in tracking, prioritizing, and escalating identified issues to software vendors, IT contacts, and business owners

· Assist with various corporate initiatives and projects by providing technical and/or administrative support.

· Create & review various reports related to activity or data within the systems to ensure accuracy and consistency of data

 

Qualifications:

· Post Secondary education with specialization in computer science

· 4 to 6 years of job-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

· Salesforce Admin certification is an asset

· Knowledge of Marketing Cloud extension products and features (Datorama, Interaction Studio, Audience Builder, etc.)

· Evaluate and maintain knowledge on market leading solutions and technology

· Multi-task, probe, analyze, and problem-solve complex issues

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Business acumen

· Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls, and other electronic communications

CRM System Administrator - Job Description

Our client requires a CRM Systems Administrator to provide technical support and develop the CRM platform and enable users to get the most out of the CRM system. Position is based in Winnipeg, MB

Specific Responsibilities:

· Management of user profile - additions, deletions, and user access rights

· Oversee the importation of leads and contacts

· Oversee and monitor all data within the system, including historical data.

· Monitor for data duplication

· Respond to inquiries from staff or system support queue and resolve questions and concerns.

· Provide administrative support to the CRM Product Manager - document preparation, communication memos, preparation of presentations, and maintenance/monitoring of records and project plans

· Identify and recommend solutions to the CRM Product Manager to optimize effective delivery of project/process initiatives

· Maintain working knowledge of all systems (test and production databases) supporting compatibility and sharing of information with systems

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma plus one year of formal education or equivalent specializing in computer science, plus 4 to 6 years of job-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

· Salesforce Admin certification is an asset

· Demonstrated experience working with technologies/systems

· Ability to keep current with rapid changes in the information technology environment
