Our client, a Manitoba crown corporation, requires a Project Manager to lead the Project Management Office in the delivery of solutions in the rural agricultural industry.  This role involves managing business and technology projects while developing project management practices.

Our client has undertaken a major IT project, migrating from a legacy system (AS400/COBOL, Windows Oracle, WinForms) onto Azure with Microsoft services: SQL, Service bus, Web services, B2C authentication. This project encompasses Office 365, Windows 10, support mobile services, Visio, MS Project, SharePoint, MS Teams and OneNote.  The IT team comprises 29 professional IT staff.

 

Requirements

Experience:

(a) using project management methodologies (PMI, Agile, Prince2)

(b) managing projects in a matrix project environment

(c) preparing & delivering presentations

(d) developing & maintaining project artifacts & templates

(e) delivering completed projects including organizing, coordinating, planning

  • University degree, PM certification

  • Minimum 5 years experience in PM role

Our client, a leading agricultural equipment manufacturer that is part of a large global corporate enterprise, requires a Director of Information Technology. This senior IT leader is responsible for building a high performance IT team and aligning it to support the IT initiatives with business objectives, opportunities and financial requirements.  This role’s focus is to provide leadership in the daily IT operations and serve as strategic advisor to the company’s senior management/business leaders.  In addition, the role also involves maintaining liaison with the parent company’s IT unit and ensuring the parent company’s standards, policies, and values are embraced at the regional level.

The ideal candidate for this role – “a forward thinking and business-focused IT leader with experience implementing ERP systems across large, multi-location organizations, ideally with a global reach.”

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic and operational technology planning regarding IT Infrastructure and architecture.

  • Oversee and guide the upgrade and implementation of ERP systems in support of new and existing business initiatives.

  • Champion the identification, definition, implementation and support of processes and technologies to add value to the organization.

  • Establish IT departmental goals, objectives and operating procedures.
